1. SPONSOR

This Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored and administered by PetMax.ca / Pet Max Inc.
(the "Sponsor"), located at 45 Nebo Rd, Hamilton, ON, L8W 2C9.

2. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on July 1, 2026 and ends at
11:59:59 p.m. ET on July 31, 2026 (the "Contest Period").

3. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Québec) who have reached the
age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees,
representatives, agents, and immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and
household members) of the Sponsor, its affiliated companies, and their advertising or
promotional agencies are not eligible. The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

4. HOW TO ENTER

There are three (3) ways to enter the Contest during the Contest Period:

Purchase Entry: Each purchase of any Nutrience pet food product from PetMax.ca or in-store
at PetMax during the Contest Period will automatically provide the purchaser with one (1)
entry into the Contest, based on the customer information associated with the transaction
record.

Mailing List Entry (No Purchase Necessary): Eligible individuals may enter without making a
purchase by subscribing to the PetMax.ca mailing list during the Contest Period. One (1)
entry per valid subscription.

Mail-In Essay Entry (No Purchase Necessary): Eligible individuals may also enter by submitting
a unique, original, and unpublished essay of at least 1,000 words describing a recent outdoor
or wilderness adventure with their pet in Canada. To be valid, the essay must be typed and
printed on paper, or handwritten, and sent by regular mail ( emailed, or faxed essays will NOT be
accepted) to:

To be eligible, a mailed essay entry must be postmarked within the Contest Period (between
July 1, 2026 and July 31, 2026 inclusive) AND physically received by the Sponsor at the above
address prior to the prize draw on August 10, 2026. Essays postmarked after July 31, 2026,
essays received on or after August 10, 2026, and essays with no legible postmark will be
declared void and ineligible. Each valid, unique essay counts as one (1) entry, with a maximum
of one (1) essay entry per person. To be valid, each mailed essay must be accompanied by the entrant's full name, mailing
address, telephone number, and a valid email address. Entries submitted without complete
and legible contact information will be declared void and ineligible. Mailed materials become the property of the Sponsor and
will not be returned. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or
postage-due mail.

Limit: Maximum of one (1) entry per person per day, regardless of entry method.

5. PROMOTIONAL OFFER (SEPARATE FROM CONTEST)

During the Contest Period, save up to $20 off select Nutrience dry dog and cat food formulas
and up to 20% off Nutrience SubZero wet food until July 31, 2026. Sale pricing is reflected
automatically on the applicable product pages while supplies last; no coupon or code is
required. This promotional offer is separate from the Contest, is not required to enter or win,
and does not affect odds of winning. Discounts apply only to eligible products as marked and
may not be combined with other offers.

6. PRIZE

There is one (1) prize available to be won, consisting of one (1) Broil King Crown 410 Shadow
4-Burner Propane BBQ, supplied by Nutrience / Rolf C. Hagen Inc. Approximate retail value:
$749 CAD (the "Prize").

The Prize must be accepted as awarded, has no cash value, and is not transferable or
substitutable, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to
substitute the Prize, in whole or in part, with another prize of equal or greater value if the
Prize is unavailable. Winner is responsible for any costs not expressly stated as included
(including any delivery, assembly, or pickup arrangements as determined by the Sponsor).

7. WINNER SELECTION

On or about August 10, 2026, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from all
eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will be conducted by the Sponsor.
The selected entrant will be notified by email or telephone within five (5) business days of the
draw.

To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

- Respond to the notification within seven (7) days;
- Correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without assistance;
- Sign and return a Declaration and Release form confirming eligibility, compliance with
these Terms, and a liability/publicity release.

Failure to meet these conditions will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate
entrant.

8. ODDS OF WINNING

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest
Period.

9. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Disqualification: The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete,
illegible, fraudulent, late, lost, misdirected, or violates these Terms.

Right to Cancel or Amend: The Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Contest in the event
of fraud, technical failures, human error, or any other cause beyond its control, without prior
notice.

Limitation of Liability: By entering, entrants agree that the Sponsor, its affiliates, employees,
and agents are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; (ii)
technical failures or interruptions; (iii) any injury, damage, or loss arising from participation
or use of the Prize.

Indemnity: Entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, affiliates, and agents from any
claims, damages, or liability arising out of participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of
the Prize.

10. QUEBEC RESIDENTS

This Contest is void in the province of Quebec. The Contest is not intended for and is not open
to residents of Quebec, due to unique promotional regulations under Quebec law. Entries from
Quebec residents will not be accepted. Entries originating from Quebec will be declared void
and ineligible to win.

11. PRIVACY

Personal information collected in connection with this Contest will be used by the Sponsor for
Contest administration purposes and otherwise handled in accordance with PetMax.ca's Privacy
Policy.

12. TRADEMARKS

Nutrience® is a trademark of Rolf C. Hagen Inc. Broil King® is a trademark of Onward
Manufacturing Company. Prize item is supplied by Nutrience / Rolf C. Hagen Inc. This Contest is
not administered or endorsed by Broil King or Onward Manufacturing Company.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada
applicable therein, except where otherwise required by applicable provincial law.

14. DISPUTES

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability
of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with
the Contest shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of
Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
