PetMax.ca Shipping Policy

Processing and Shipping Times

Same-Day Shipping: 98% of orders placed before 12:00 PM EST (noon) on business days are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST will ship the next business day. In rare cases, delays may occur. If your order is delayed, a customer service representative will reach out.

Quick Shipping: The majority of our shipments are delivered in 1 business day.

Shipping Rates and Free Shipping

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping on orders over $89. Some exclusions apply, such as remote locations or high-delivery-cost areas. Additionally, purchases of litter with a total weight exceeding 60 lbs (27 kg) are excluded from our free shipping offer.

Free Local Shipping on Orders Over $30: We offer free shipping on orders over $30 to both Hamilton and Burlington. Additionally, purchases of litter with a total weight exceeding 60 lbs (27 kg) are excluded from our free shipping offer.

Standard Shipping Rates: Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.

Exclusions and Special Conditions

Remote Areas: Some remote or difficult-to-reach areas may incur additional shipping charges. These charges are calculated at checkout based on your postal code.

Excluded Postal Codes: Certain postal codes are excluded from our free shipping offers due to high delivery costs. Please check the shipping rates at checkout or on our Shipping Information page.

Weight-Based Exclusion: Orders containing litter that weighs more than 60 lbs (27 kg) in total do not qualify for free shipping, even if the order total exceeds $89.

Shipping Carriers

We use a variety of shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and Canada Post to ensure fast and reliable service. The carrier is selected based on the destination, order size, or customer choice at checkout.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to monitor your delivery status.

International Shipping

At this time, we only ship within Canada. International shipping is not available.

Delivery Times

Delivery times depend on the destination and shipping method.

  • National Orders: Delivered in 2–4 business days

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us immediately at support@petmax.ca. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and ensure you’re taken care of. We will always make things right.
