FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more about PetMax.

What is the Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy made of?
The Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy is a soft plush toy in smooth grey fabric, with small rounded ears, a stitched face and a long tail. Dexypaws adds a squeaker and crinkly sounds. The brand describes it as plush but does not publish its fibre content or stuffing, and the sewn-in label is not legible in the brand's photos.
Is the Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy a good fit for my dog?
Dexypaws calls this plushie soft and safe and ideal for gentle chewers and cuddle sessions, so it suits dogs that like to carry, nuzzle and snuggle their toys. No dog size or age range is published. Choose it based on how your dog plays, and pick a sturdier toy if your dog usually tears plush toys apart.
Does the Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy squeak?
Yes. Dexypaws says the Otter plushie has a squeaker and crinkly sounds, so your dog gets two kinds of noise during play. Dexypaws does not state whether the squeaker can be removed, so treat it as a built-in feature of the toy, and take the toy away if the squeaker ever becomes exposed or comes loose.
Can dogs that chew hard use the Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy?
It is not meant for them. Dexypaws positions this soft plush toy for gentle chewers and cuddle sessions, not for dogs that shred toys. Always supervise play, check the seams and tail regularly, and remove the toy if it tears, stuffing shows or the squeaker comes loose. Dogs that chew hard need a toy built for heavy chewing.
How big is the Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy, and how many are in a pack?
The Dexypaws Otter Plush Dog Toy is approximately 20 cm (8 inches); Dexypaws does not publish exact dimensions. It is sold individually, so each one you order is a single otter plushie. Dexypaws' photos show it on a header card printed "Otter | Loutre", and the brand lists a shipping weight of 180 g for this toy.
