What is the Flexi Puppy Tape Small (Pink)?

It's the puppy-sized Flexi retractable leash in Pink — robust tape that resists sharp puppy teeth, comfortable braking system, and overall lighter weight than the adult Classic line.

Does it actually survive puppy teeth?

Better than standard tape — Flexi specifically formulated this version for puppy use. But you still shouldn't let your puppy chew on the leash. Even the toughest tape eventually wears under repeated chewing.

When do I upgrade to a regular Flexi?

When your puppy outgrows the small-size weight rating, typically 6–12 months depending on breed. Adult-rated Flexis (Classic, Vario, Xtreme) are designed for the higher loads bigger dogs put on a leash.

Should I use a Flexi while training recall?

Flexis are not training tools — they reward pulling (the leash extends as the dog moves away). For active recall training, use a long line. Save the Flexi for casual walks once basic leash manners are in place.

Why Pink?
