Description

The HealthyPaws Beef formula is a combination of extra lean cuts of beef trim, hearts, liver and kidneys sourced from small producers in southwest Ontario and British Columbia. The beef does not contain any antibiotics or hormones. Whenever possible, the vegetables and fruits used are purchased weekly from local suppliers. This kelp is sourced from the shores of Nova Scotia and their fish oil is a blend of sardine and herring oil from the North Atlantic.

Why are beef organs included?
Organ meats (liver, heart, kidney) are nutrient-dense, supplying B vitamins, iron, zinc, vitamin A, and CoQ10 in concentrated, naturally occurring form. Together with muscle meat and bone, they make a biologically appropriate raw meal.
What are the nutritional benefits of beef?
Beef is excellent for protein, zinc, vitamin B12, selenium, and phosphorus — and a good source of iron, niacin, vitamin B6, and riboflavin. Together these support muscle, immune, and metabolic health.
How do I serve raw beef food?
Thaw in the refrigerator before feeding. Healthy Paws is shipped frozen and should remain frozen until use. Follow standard raw-food safety practices when handling.
