Description

The HealthyPaws Turkey formula contains some of the finest turkey, sourced from an independent producer outside of London, Ontario. Whenever possible, the vegetables and fruits used are purchased weekly from local suppliers. The kelp is sourced from the shores of Nova Scotia and the fish oil is a blend of sardine and herring oil from the North Atlantic.

Turkey is a low fat meat and a source of zinc which is essential for a healthy immune system and needed to metabolize fat, protein and carbohydrates. Turkey is a very good source of the trace mineral selenium and is also a good source of niacin and vitamin B6. These two B vitamins are important for energy production. Niacin is essential for the conversion of the body's proteins, fats, and carbohydrates into usable energy.

Where does the turkey come from?
The turkey is sourced from an independent producer outside London, Ontario. It's quality Ontario-raised turkey, antibiotic and hormone-free.
Is turkey a leaner protein than beef or chicken?
Yes — turkey is naturally a low-fat protein, making it a great choice for dogs needing leaner meals. It's still nutrient-dense, providing zinc, selenium, and B vitamins.
What does turkey provide nutritionally?
Turkey is a source of zinc (essential for immune health and metabolism), and a very good source of selenium. It's also a good source of niacin and vitamin B6 — both important for energy production.
