Please remove the collar prior to application. The dog should be standing for easy application. Part the hair on the dog’s back between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube to completely empty the contents directly on the skin.

What is K9 Advantix II for Medium Dogs?

Topical monthly flea/tick/mosquito control for medium-sized dogs. Same multi-active formula as the larger versions, dosed for medium body weight ranges.

Mosquito protection?

Yes — K9 Advantix II repels mosquitoes, which matters because mosquitoes transmit heartworm. The product doesn't replace heartworm preventive (which targets the parasite once it's in the dog), but it adds a layer of bite-prevention.

How do I apply?

Squeeze the contents along the skin from the shoulder blades to the base of the tail. Make sure the liquid contacts skin, not just fur. No bathing for 24 hours.

How long does it last?

Up to 30 days per dose. Some users find protection drops off near the end of the month — apply slightly early if you're at the tail end of effectiveness during heavy tick season.

What if I also have cats?

K9 Advantix II is toxic to cats. Keep treated dogs separate from cats for at least 24 hours after application, and never apply this product to a cat. Use Advantage II on the dog if cat contact is unavoidable.
