FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more about PetMax.

What is the KONG Ziggles Frog Dog Toy made of?

KONG lists the materials as 74% polyester and 26% plastic squeaker. The frog is a velvety-soft bright green plush with darker green hands and feet, embroidered eyes and a pink-tongued mouth, and its inner fabric is lined with extra material for added resilience. KONG gives China as the country of origin. KONG does not publish washing or cleaning instructions for this toy.

Which dogs is the KONG Ziggles Frog Dog Toy best for?

KONG designs the Ziggles Frog for light to moderate chewers and makes it in one size, Medium; it does not publish a dog-weight range. It suits dogs that love to shake and tug a toy, chase it in games of indoor fetch and then snuggle up with it at naptime. For tough chew sessions, KONG suggests its rubber toys instead.

How does the giggle in the KONG Ziggles Frog Dog Toy work?

Give the toy a good shake: the hang tag reads "Shake for giggling fun!", and KONG says the lively giggling sounds activate dogs' natural instincts to shake and tug. KONG's material list includes a plastic squeaker, but KONG does not say how the sound unit is built or whether it can be removed. Supervise play and discontinue use if the toy is damaged.

Is the KONG Ziggles Frog Dog Toy tough enough for heavy chewers?

No. KONG designs the Ziggles Frog for light/moderate chewing. Its lined inner fabric adds resilience so it can handle enthusiastic thrashing, but for tough chew sessions KONG suggests its rubber toys. Use it for supervised play, remove all packaging and attachments before giving it to your dog, check it regularly and discontinue use if it becomes damaged.
