FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more about PetMax.

What does Le Salon Enzyme Deodorizing Shampoo do?
It uses enzymes alongside aloe and plant-based ingredients to neutralize coat odours rather than just masking them. The spearmint and eucalyptus scent leaves a fresh finish after the wash.
How do enzymes deodorize?
Enzymes break down the bacteria and organic compounds that cause odours, eliminating them at the source rather than covering them up with fragrance. That's why enzyme shampoos work better on truly stinky dogs.
What's in it besides enzymes?
Soothing aloe, plant-based cleansers, and hints of spearmint and eucalyptus. The formula is paraben-free, free of synthetic fragrance, and pH-balanced.
When should I reach for it?
Use it after rolls in something foul, after long backcountry hikes, or anytime your dog's coat smells musty between baths. It's also a good baseline shampoo for dogs that simply tend to smell.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
It's gentle thanks to aloe and the cruelty-free formula, though dogs with confirmed allergies should try Le Salon's Hypo-Allergenic Shampoo first since this formula is scented.
