FAQ

Veuillez consulter notre page de FAQ pour en savoir plus sur PetMax.

What is the Cal Premium Twisted Bully Stick Dog Chew made of?
It has just one ingredient: 100% beef pizzle, with no rawhide or beef collagen. Cal Premium twists two all-natural beef bully sticks together and slow-roasts them, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The chews are sourced and made in the USA.
Which dogs is this twisted bully stick best for?
Cal Premium describes its Twisted Bully Sticks as built for moderate to power chewers and medium to large dogs, and the packaging says they are great for all life stages. Choose a chew based on your dog's size, chewing strength and chewing habits; it should always be large enough that your dog cannot swallow it whole. For puppies, pick an appropriately sized chew, supervise chewing and ask your veterinarian if you are unsure.
How should I give this chew to my dog?
Feed it as a natural chew treat; it is not intended to replace your dog's regular diet and is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. Always supervise your dog while chewing, and remove the chew if it becomes small enough to swallow or develops pieces that could present a choking hazard. Cal Premium suggests offering chews in moderation, depending on your dog's size, diet, activity level and the type of chew.
What is the difference between the 5-7" and 9-11" sizes?
Cal Premium lists the same ingredient and guaranteed analysis for both sizes; the published difference is the length. The 5-7" size is 13-18 cm (5-7 in) long and the 9-11" size is 23-28 cm (9-11 in) long. Choose a length your dog cannot swallow whole, based on its size and chewing strength. Each chew is sold individually.
Does it have a strong smell, and how should I store it?
Cal Premium's packaging describes these twisted bully sticks as naturally low odour, and the brand also lists them as fully digestible. Cal Premium advises keeping treats in a cool, dry place and resealing the package after opening. Follow any additional storage instructions on the packaging.
