What is the Pro Plus Moulting Comb?
It's a comb specifically designed to remove dead, shedding hair during moulting (the seasonal coat blow). Closely-spaced teeth catch loose undercoat that's already detached but stuck in the coat.
How do I use it?
Comb in the direction of fur growth — the teeth catch loose undercoat hair so you can pull it out cleanly. Best paired with brushing afterward to lift any hair the comb loosens.
Which dogs is it best for?
Long-haired and double-coated breeds during seasonal coat blowouts — typically spring and fall. Short single-coat breeds don't get the same benefit.
When should I use it?
During heavy shedding seasons, daily or every other day during the worst of the moult. Outside shedding seasons, a regular comb is usually sufficient.
