What is Vet's Best Bitter Cherry Spray?
It's a 7.5 oz anti-chew, anti-lick deterrent spray. Designed to discourage dogs from chewing on bandages, stitches, hot spots, paws, or any area you need them to leave alone.
How does it work?
The bitter taste from natural lemon and grapeseed extracts is unpleasant for dogs. They quickly learn to avoid sprayed areas. Apply directly to skin, fur, or whatever surface you want them to stop chewing.
Is it safe to spray on skin?
Yes — it's alcohol-free and won't sting, so you can spray it directly onto your dog's skin, on bandages, or on stitches. Avoid the eyes and don't spray inside the mouth.
Can I use it on cats?
No — this product is formulated for dogs only. Don't use it on cats. If you need a deterrent spray for cats, look for one specifically labelled cat-safe.
When is it most useful?
Post-surgery to keep stitches intact, on bandages or e-collars when dogs try to remove them, on furniture corners, or on hot spots while you're treating the underlying cause.
